How May Tarot Assist you?
Tarot's journey through the ages has been phenomenal, evolving into a empowering tool. If you are struggling to understand what is happening in your life, Tarot may be used as a tool to see self more clearly, allowing the bigger picture, instead of a myopic view of reality. The Tarot is great to bring focus on what is happening now, as what we do now, creates the future.
Tarot may be seen as a bridge to divine synchronicity where the Universe speaks in symbols and messages. The self-awakening and transforming cuts out the middleman the need to be following, rather self-guiding, flowing with intuition. The answers are within, the Tarot will assist in illiciting the answers you seek, enabling you to gain insight into your life and take action.
Tarot Through The Ages To the 21st Century
The collective opinion is that Tarot originated in the 14th century, surfacing notably in Italy as a game. The Visconti-Sforza, the Sola Busca tarot, and the Este tarot are among the most recognized decks, all of which were hand-painted and very beautiful. What actually happened with these decks as a game is not clear. Over a period of approximately three hundred years, this Tarot game was played throughout Europe but its use changed. A popular French pack called the Tarot de Marseille, that is still circulating, became part of an evolution from a game into more esoteric uses. Tarot became a tool used for predicting the future and divination. The was primarily used by the upper classes, as printed paper was costly at that time.

Focus on The Rider-Waite Tarot and The Hermetic Order of The Golden Dawn
Two hundred years went by, and tarot cards became more popular. In the 1900s, the Tarot was used by a particular and famous occult group called The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, a secret society that practised Kabbala, astrology, and tarot, among other esoteric ways. The Golden Dawn teachings directly impacted the creation of The Original Rider-Waite, created by A.E. Waite and Pamela Colman Smith, as shown above, who were both part of this secret order. The Rider-Waite deck is widely considered the most used card deck in the world, first published in 1909, it is not copyrighted so you can use the images freely. All the cards were fully illustrated with images and symbology, setting them apart from other packs, which typically illustrated only the Major Arcana. The Tarot has been evolving, and now, in 21st century, it is a valuable tool for those self-awakening and self-transforming.
